British Airways New Uniforms

British Airways staff are having new uniforms designed.

I do not think that changing the current BA uniform is a good idea. The uniform is very nice, smart and professional as it is, and in fact I think it is the best uniform they have ever had. So why change it just because of this upcoming Centenary celebration? As the old adage goes, if it ain't broke, why fix it? KEEP THE CURRENT UNIFORM, BA, PLEASE.

Most people say EVERY day online that they want the Julien Mac uniform restored, as that looked so much nicer and smarter on the female crew than this new one does. It should never have been changed in the first place. The main problem with the Boateng female crew uniform is that it is too dull and drab, and there is not enough white in it The suits should be worn with the white blouse, and NOT the dark, dull ones. Ánd that red arrow on the skirt needs to go, as it looks terrible.

My daughter's just joined BA - what a shame they somehow introduced such unattractive new uniforms - what's wrong with classy?

Dreading this new uniform when it is rolled out this week. It is the women's cabin crew style that is the worst, as the formerly smart skirt suits and white blouses have been replaced by a horrible, drab, plain style. The crew will no longer look as nice and stunning as they did in the Julien uniform. BA should not have bothered touching that uniform, as it was perfectly fine as it was. What a bad mistake they have made here, downgrading the look of their female crew like this!

Having seen the new uniform today, I can tell you it looks awful! Swissport comes to mind, in fact he's basically just copied their uniform and charged millions.

What's with that unsightly red arrow on the skirt front. It looks awful. Really detracts from the look of the skirt suit. It should be removed and the suit made all the one colour. The suit does look better with the white blouse than with the dark one.

Now that I have seen all the latest photos of all the BA crew wearing this new uniform, I have to add my voice to the majority of people who hate it too. It is nowhere near as nice and smart and stylish as the iconic Julien MacDonald uniform. The female crew look too drab and dull in it. It needs to go.

Hmmm. Now BA needs to GET RID OF THAT HIDEOUS Business Class layout, UPGRADE its inflight product and return to the greatest from which it fell. Right now, BA = BEST AVOIDED. You have a LOT OF WORK TO DO IAG. Question is ... will you undertake the challenge?
