The iconic 1960s Chevrolet sports car returns for 2023 with this wild rendering featuring a blower, widebody kit, and a lowrider look. 1962 was the last model year for the C1 Corvette, and there are a lot of reasons why it holds a special place in this iconic sports car's history. From a performance perspective, it was the most powerful version of the first-gen Vette thanks to its bigger 327 ci V8. Variants equipped with fuel injection were producing 360 horsepower, which was pretty impressive for that period. From a design perspective, it was the last Corvette to feature the curvy shape of a 50s-era automobile. With the update to the second-gen model in 1963, the exterior styling switched to a more modern design. It was also the last that we saw of the exposed headlamps until Chevrolet brought them back with the C6 in 2005.

1962 was the most successful model year for this classic Chevrolet, and it continues to be a high-desirable classic car model even today. HotCars Digital Artist Timothy Adry Emmanuel gives a fresh take on this vintage American beauty, bringing it back for 2023 with this wild rendering in the form of a sweet-looking restomod. With a supercharged V8 under its hood and a widebody kit, it's ready to own the drag strip!
