I am on my last rescheduling. I selected 7 July 2024 as my OFC appointment and as I moved forward Last week of july and first week of august were the available consular dates. I decided to wait in hope that more consular dates will show up in month of july. But no consular dates slots opened up and now it is showing 'no slots available'

I want to share my experience with rescheduling process. It is clear and time taking process. We need patience. Click reschedule appointment, then Normal ofc slot searching, if u find the right date, click it, immediately you will receive the consular interview post, select the location, again and again search all available centre, wait for the date patiently, then you will find the available slots book it immediately. Thats all . Take out the print out.

Hi, I made an error in my appointment category and selected as D only. Whereas I wanted C1/D and my DS-160 says C1/D only. They asked me to make a new appointment with the correct category. Can you please guide me how to do this? And I applied today, so do I have to wait for 24 hours?

I applied for C1/D category yesterday and booked appointment ofc on 8/8/2024 and consular on 30/8/2024.

Now rescheduled to ofc on 25/7/2024 and consular on 25/8/2024.

My doubt is us visa website says you cannot book visa interview date earlier than your previous interview booking.If u do so you won't be interviewed.
Is it ok to book early?? Kindly tell

Hi @Umreeka, I had applied for B2 visa but when i made payment for the first time my mother did not went through the appointment center as her ds160 confirmation code did not match. So i made payment again as it was the last attempt in my previous payment hence could not use the payment made during first time. Now i got the appointment initially for 2025 and then rescheduled it to October 2024 but after that there is no "reschedule appointment" option available on my portal. What should i do in this case to avoid making payment again? And on "manage appointment" page, I see a message like "Appointment limit reached. You can no longer schedule appointments. Please use the feedback/requests link on the visa application Home page for further assistance in rescheduling your appointment". If I cancel the existing appointment, will I be able to book an appointment with the same payment or not? Kindly suggest. Thank you.

For myself and my spouse got the visa stamped this 2023 January. Travel is planned on this January 2024. But for now, my two month old daughter, we applied visa and got appointment on February 15th. Can i opt for emergency or any other way to get preponed to early dates. help appreciated.
