Bulk Bag Filling System with Palletizer

This automated bulk bag filling system allows one operator to fill and palletize bulk bags with powders. An operator hangs and bulk bag on the pneumatic bag clamps and lifters. Next, the operator places the bag spout over the dust free fill head. After pressing a button, the filling system fills the bulk bag to a set target weight. When full, the system lowers the bulk bag onto a shipping pallet that was automatically placed by the system under the bag using powered roller conveyors. The operator releases the bag straps and bag spout and ties it closed. The operator depresses a button that starts the powered roller conveyors which transports the filled bulk bag and pallet to a check weigher. After confirming the target set weight, the bag is rolled to the end of the line where it is retrieved using a forklift for shipping or storage.
