They all sound wonderful, please do a comparison of your F style models as well...especially any with the wide nut option.

the a5 is obvious choice historically, but the model M is a hoss son! i would play that anywhere

I'd pick the A4 Special, but that's no surprise considering that my main mandolin is a Northfield F2.

Great to hear the three side-by-side! Do all of them have the same type of spruce for the top?

They all sound great. I would trade my Gibson A9 for an A5 special if I could.
