Regarding the salaries of ISRO Scientists, salaries are paid every three months (together of 3 months) with interest. This is not something new, anyone working in a PSU will tell you this lol

Rajiv Gandhi first was not willing to Fund for Indias Super Computer as he didn't have faith that our scientists would be able to build it.
He went to US for it. The USA denied to sell it to India.
Then Rajiv Gandhi funded our scientists to build one.
