I have always enjoyed "Race With The devil" having first watched it as a teenage in the UK in late 1970's. Amazing how some of the locations have changed especially Potraanco Rd.

I grew up not far from the Diamond A store off of Potranco. Barely remember it, but I do remember the old lady who shows up in the movie. She was a sweetie.

1:33 Potranco rd between 211 and 1604 exploded between 2005 and 2010,
In 05 i worked as a glazer instaling glass into a new building off of 211, and the only thing i remember being out there on 1604 and Potranco was a Bill Millers and a gas station, last time i drove out there it was like a whole new city blew up over night...

The area outside Loop 410 in San Antonio was pretty much rural in the mid-1970s. When Ingram Park Mall was opened in 1979, the area around Potranco Road started filling out with businesses until they spread to Loop 1604 by the mid-1990s. Thanks for the piece of history of what San Antonio was. Will you do Sugarland Express in the future?

Pretty Cool!, Didn't know for years this was shot in Texas!, I first seen this on TV in 1977 "CBS", Lived in Indiana back then, Now live near Houston Texas and have been to San Antonio a few times!
