LMR C7 Z06 Stage III First 1/4 pass 10.0 ET

Late Model Racecrafts first time down the 1/4 mile with there stage III Package.

The car performed great just as we knew it would and our tuning and data were on point. We made one pass off the trailer with a very soft launch and car went a 10.0.

We worked with McLeod to design a twin disc clutch for these new Z06s and the clutch we had in the car is a prototype version. Lets just say the car ran a great number, while the clutch did not. So we packed right up and headed back to shop. We use McLeod in a lot of our Corvette builds and have full confidence that we will get the issue resolved. Once we get a clutch to hold in this car and get to really launch it, we will see some incredible times.

A lot of shit talking, this car is still fairly new, look how far the stingray came in the time it's been out. Now you have the Z06 with about 200 more HP. Many of you will eat your words within the next year when these tuning companies get these cars dialed in!

sounds insane! nasty cam! glad to see a manual shift. I have a 02 ZO6 and was very disappointed to see Chevy offer a automatic transmission option for the ZO6 now. in my opinion automatics have no business being in that car!!!! it's a race car. a Corvette. not a chevette. haha

I wonder did they actually resolve the clutch issue/develop an upgrade for the manual transmission. If so is there a video update? Id consider this build if it has been sorted properly- love the manual

don't take your foot off the gas when you shift... Just a quick 1/2 clutch and pull into gear.... Its faster than the auto/paddle shift
