Note: If you want to copy a large file (over 4 GB) to the FAT32/msdos file system without reformatting it as NTFS/ext4, sorry I don't have any easy solution for you. I have tried some of the solutions here and there from the internet but none of them worked and ended up horribly malfunctioning my system. Likely I had a system backup to restore the machine to the previous state.

If you are an advanced user, good power to you. but if you are not, then this is the easiest and safest solution :)

Have you got linux mint on a bootable drive or ACTUALLY on the PC?

If it is on a boot bake drive, how did you get it to save things before you shut down?

It is working PERFECTLY on Ubuntu 20.04.
