Is it Worth it?

Is it really worth it continuing to play Minecraft and its minigames like Hypixel Bedwars after all these years? Here's what I have to say about it.

You can never let the viewer know when your next upload date is.
(also I apologise for the very hypixel-focused aspect of this video)

I'll be honest, I'm tired of trying to optimise my videos for youtube and all that... I'm simply just going to make videos that I think people should watch.

That being said, I appreciate you sticking around to watch; thank you :)

Wow, you read the whole description, then in that case, hope you realise that you're worth it ;)

And as always,
See ya!

this was such a relatable and beautiful video to watch, i feel like there's a lot more fun to be had now with playing the game for fun and trying other parts of the game like the newer updates with friends rather than grinding stats or trying to be insanely efficient. the more i try different parts of the game, the more i appreciate bedwars and all the other parts of the game when i come back to it.

As a Minecraft creator of over 7 years, this video means a lot to me. Its hard to describe the emotion it brings. But it really makes me wonder how everything changed so much, or if it was ourselves who changed.

Honestly, this was beautiful to watch, and I am also currently on the decline of playing bedwars at 580 stars, mainly cuz I have just been enjoying the newer version and building a lot more. But thank you for making this video, because it is great to take a step back and just look how far we have come.

I think this is a brilliant video that really captures the reality for so many of us who "should have grown out" of minecraft (or other games). For a lot of people, this game, and the wonderful creators that accompanied it, played a huge part in our childhood – and now it reminds us of a simpler, easier, maybe even better time. That's why we go back to it, trying to replicate the feelings we had back then.

But sometimes, with us being older, we forget why we had fun playing the game in the first place, and "work hard" to inflate stats in the game under the assumption that's why the game was fun. But I think it has always been the little moments, and sharing them with our friends, that really shaped our experiences. Does anyone remember their first bedwars win? A hilarious blunder that lead to a loss? Fun is found in feelings, not in numbers – as long as we remember that, its always worth clicking on that dirt block.

this editing is amazing, and gave me a wave of nostalgia, its makes me sad to see how so many people have left the community, that spark could only last for so long, and it took me 10 years to realize that. Taking breaks are amazing, you can only do so much of one thing for a long period of time, if you are always doing what you like the most, whenever you're not doing it, its feels off. Overall amazing video, and well done.

Im actually impressed by this. Didn’t ever expect to get hit by something so relaxing so cinematic after hearing bad news in the family. Thank you very much my dear creator who just showed up on my starting page

I think its worth it as long as you don't just play for the sake of the grind. Playing for fun with friends and not for the competition is important. New servers like mcci with new innovative modes make things more interesting and add more opportunities for new content and skills to learn as well.

2019 through 2021 were my favourite years. Besides the pandemic, all these YouTubers were grinding their way to become the best all while having fun. Playing competitive games such as Minecraft isn’t about winning, it’s about having fun, and making memories. So thank you, for all the memories.

This video was too relatable for me. I'm 15 now, and started playing Minecraft back in 2017, when I was like 9. This game has held so much for me, from survival to Bedwars. Coming home all those years ago, only to call up with that one friend and log on Jartex cause we couldnt afford buying the game, on a 2008 Macbook which was my dads. Now, all these years later with a PC capable of running so much more, I keep finding myself coming back to Minecraft and both the simplicity of survival and fun of Bedwars, while all my friends moved on.

This hit so hard. Everthing abt this video, the editing, the commentary, the music, its all so relatable and makes me realise how much hypixel has changed and this makes me actually wanna come back to the game for once. Thank you for making such a great video and helping us all realise how much we love this game.

This video is very relatable, it’s kinda comforting knowing I’m not the only person feeling this way. As I get older and as my time becomes more and more valuable, I find it hard to even find the motivation to open up the Mc launcher, let a alone edit it. It just doesn’t feel worth my time anymore. Great video btw Mix

I think too many people fixate on 'worth' and whether or not something is worth it, as if there is some kind of of logical question. We have this idea ingrained in our heads at a young age that if we don't accomplish something or live a certain way, then we should feel regret, but regret is a choice. You are the only person who can determine whether or not something is 'worth it', theres no intrinsic value in anything, only the value you give it.

this was like, an ethereal cinematic experience that like was beyond feeling, like Minecraft has been in everyones lives for so long, fading in and out, but this just hit me with a wave of nostalgia, thank you :)
