Will Bosi repeats Burden of Dreams Font 9A/V17

Will Bosi has made the first repeat of Nalle Hukkataival's Burden of Dreams 9A, the world's first 9A boulder in Lappnor, east of Helsinki, Finland. Initially known as the Lappnor Project, Nalle climbed the line in 2016 after over three years of effort to establish the world's hardest boulder problem. Will has confirmed the grade at 9A/V17.

Really enjoyed watching Will's progress on this and the approach of using the indoor replica. Psyched for him ticking it. Having seen him on the first session live stream, it seemed very likely he was going to do it quickly!

I've been lucky enough to try the lattice replica. I was able to pull off the ground but moving out of the position was on a different level. Being 7 grades over my max grade on boulders I can only imagine how much strength and power you would need to climb it!

Just replying to Neil B below, about replicas.
Yes, you're right (about replicas being used before), although Ben's was for Hubble - which is essentially a boulder problem. Others have taken casts of holds.
If you think about it, everything is a replica to some degree, it's just that things are becoming increasingly specific.

The real question, is whether Will could climb Burden without the beard.

I also find this interesting "a step up from everything else ive done, and a huge step up from any 8C/8C+ Ive done". So is a huge step up from 8C+ only 9A or 9A+? I soso hope he gets on megratron (down the road from me)

I think its fair to say climbers have been building replicas of routes /boulder problems to train specifically for years, I'm fairly sure there was a magazine feature about Ben moon building a replica to train on, might have been the sound of one hand slapping ??
