Tesla charging port not opening? [Easy Fix - Very quick!]

Many times I want to open the Tesla charge port, but the car does not want to open the port. Then what is to be done? All known solutions lead to either opening the Tesla application and unlocking the charging port, or entering the car and opening the charging port from there.

But there is another solution, much faster and more efficient.

I found when in deep sleep after charging, a double button press wakes up the car (doesn't always work). The issue I am having is after a drive, when the car is parked and unlocked, the port just doesn't open with the charger button, but, if I tap the door, it does open

No need to mention that this trick it's only valid while charging from home or any Tesla charger except the SuperChargers

My issue with 2023 Model 3 is when charging is complete, pressing and holding the button does not release the charging cable. I even tried to unlock the car before trying to use charging cable release button. Did not work. I have to use phone button to release it. Any ideas?

Mine is just working with the App or inside the car, it doesn't open it even when the car is unlocked! :-( I opened a case with Tesla!

Also, don't touch the damn cover, I did trying to get it open (it would open for a second then shut). I tried to stop it from closing and it broke the tiny plastic keeping it in place, I barely touched the piece of garbage and now it is dangling. Very frustrating.

You didn't have the charger in your hand, you have the connector adapter. The charger is inside the car.
