Great cooler only problem is i have the same color dark gray and kept in the back of work truck but dry lid bowed from heat i believe. When i tried making a warranty claim, its says 3 year warranty but i couldn't because i lost receipt.

That dry box lid worries me. I sometimes use my 19qt Engel to sit on.

Only wish it wasn’t an imported product. I was ready to move a few older coolers down the road and ask for one for Father’s Day. I love all of my pelican boxes, small cases and large cooler but now it seems I need to read every product to find USA products.

I work behind an asphalt paver. Would you recommend this cooler? Temperatures vary behind the paver but its a constant 90-150 degrees behind the asphalt paver.

I just wish they done a 10/12QT cooler. The 8QT isn’t slightly too small and the 14QT just that little bit too big.

This cooler is super cool and I really want to get it, but I'm not because it's made in China and probably in a sweatshop by some poor kid who gets paid 1 yuan a day.

Very cool! But what's up with the obnoxious colors? I love the grey and coyote tan colors, would love a black and tan one... but neon green? really? Sure there are ostentatious people out there, but I'm not one of them. The emergency orange kind of makes sense given it nests in with orange survival gear even though it's still garish and undesirable. I have a bunch of Pelican storm cases from the im220 to the im3075, all in black. Why not offer the coyote tan cooler with a black liner? At least it would tie in to the rest of my collection in some way. I gotta say though, it'd look bad@$$ to have a black cooler with a tan inside, I can understand a black color outside would absorb a bit more heat which is antithetical to the purpose of a cooler (It'd still be the one I buy though), but why not do black on the inside where UV light absorption isn't a factor? Why not offer the grey coolers with a coyote tan inside? I found one Coyote 50 qt on Amazon with a grey insert, but it was too big for my uses. Unfortunately it has the best color combo. I'd hate to have to go buy a Yeti instead :/ Hopefully you guys will fix this for us color matching design snobs soon ;)
