I once had a cat named Tum-Tum. She got her front paw caught in a closing door once. It wasn't a serious injury, but she did limp around for a few days. Everyone in the family showered her with attention, since her paw hurt.

She figured out how it worked and started pretend-limping when she wanted attention.

My poor dog was afraid of farts. Any farts. Human farts, other dogs farts, anything. He would literally run in the opposite direction if he heard a fart or even sometimes if you made that "raspberry" fart sound with your mouth. It was funny and kinda sad.
