Great extension home, nice arm rotation and angle and great push off the mound.

Lead leah blocks are are perfect and they can move fast and come to a halt and that’s what creates the fast mph

Keeping the front side closed and driving through with the back side creates a ton of torque and when the front leg lands and the upper body opens up it creates more power. Maybe not the best explanation but something along those lines.

My guess: it's all about the legs, particularly the back leg. Most people do everything else, including me for a while, but when i started using my legs more, it made a difference. Particularly the coil of the back leg at the end creates velocity because more of your body is moving like lever attached to a lever attached to a lever.

They all load up great on the back leg

It’s really not a lot, they have similar points in their arm path where they then explode and whip the hand across the body, but front leg, truck tilt, arm angle, down hill speed, all pretty different. Goes to show even at the highest level there’s a lot of variation, they do all stand tall and drop into back leg before arm moves forward though

They all three stride very far towards the plate which allows them to have more velocity on their fastball they also all three turn their hips and get all their power from the bottom half very low center of gravity very strong legs on these gentlemen

It's great mechanics, but make no mistake, these are all freaks.

Powerful legs and arm is perfectly synchronized ?

Helsley and Duran make use of trail knee flexion

They use their arm not their torso. Torso never hunches leaning forward. The shoulder, followed by the arm and wrist. Thats power movement.

Hicks has very little load, pretty crazy how he can generate 103 like that

The top and bottom are almost the same wow

The first two look decent. Third guy is Tommy John surgery waiting to happen. The way he recoils his elbow after release. I've seen it time and time again.

Not a whole lot of drop and drive but they do create a shitload of torque by keeping that front foot closed all the way until they're about to land. They also push off the rubber well allowing them to transfer their energy over that front knee.

There is no such thing as 103 mph mechanics. Just big guys with live arms and good tempo. Smooth mechanics help you throw your best.
