I remember this game. The score did not indicate how badly Dallas was severely kicking their ass. Kerr came in and I was not old enough to know any of the former Bulls players, I honestly thought he looked kinda wimpy and didn't expect anything from him, my dad was like watch this guy, he is a deadly shooter if left open. History made, man Kerr had been one of my favorite bench guys since this game and now he coached my favorite team the Warriors to an NBA championship! Man I love this guy!

I cry every time I watch this. I just love Steve Kerr as a player and coach. That game, the Spurs needed something, and he stayed ready. The whole game complexion changed with his dead-eye shooting and hustle (You can't discount Stephen Jackson, who hit some killer 3s as well.). That guy was the classic NBA overachiever.

i like how people think its some kind of coincidence this guy went to the warriors and they turned into the greatest shooting team in history. kerr is the all time leader in three point shooting percentage.

I'm a Bulls fan and was in 6th grade back then. I remembered Steve Kerr as being a part of our championship teams during the 2nd 3-peat but he was used very sparingly his final year I often forgot he was still on the Spurs. This game seemed absolutely hopeless for San Antonio, it felt like a game 7 vs Dallas a guarantee. Steve Kerr came in outta nowhere and completely swung this game in the Spurs favor with his unexpected barrage of 3's in the 4th. There weren't many dynasty era Bulls left in the NBA by this point so it was pretty cool for me to see Kerr shine in such a big spot 5 years after the Last Dance showing he still had the marksmanship he was always known for.
