Just found you guys today thanks to "Spotify Discover weekly". Just gotta say something. I'm not sure what inspired this song, but I'm holding it close to my heart. As a male victim of childhood sexual abuse, the lyrics resonate with how a lot of victims feel and the struggles they go through. In particular the part about "We'd rather be alone than use our pain to unite against our foes". A lot of victims never come forward, because they are ashamed. They'd rather be alone, then have to admit that someone did the unthinkable to them. Thank you for giving me a kind of anthem, even though I'm sure that was not the intention while writing it
