Commando, originally released as Senjō no Ōkami (戦場の狼 lit. "Wolf of the Battlefield"?), is a run & gun, vertically scrolling arcade game released in 1985. Its influence can be seen in various later games in the shooter game genre. Versions were released for various home computers and consoles. The game also appears on Capcom Classics Collection, Activision Anthology, and on the Wii Virtual Console Arcade, as well as Capcom Arcade Cabinet for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

Pat, if Ian is truly still alive, put him on the phone in the next podcast, and ask him what the scores were in the NBA (For any of the teams) that played the week you record.

Commando on the NES was the first NES game I ever bought. Even before I bought an NES. I bought it in anticipation that one day I'll get an NES. And I did. For my birthday the following year.

Do you officially play as Super Joe? I guess that makes NES Bionic Commando an official sequel? I always thought it was, especially with the overhead scenes.
