Thought this is worth posting. When I made this video for Tim it got the attention of Kay reissue guitars. They seemed genuinely kind, and liked this video. They approached me about making some demo videos for them. I gave them a quote and was excited to work with a product name I'm a fan of. They told me they were going a different direction and I would be contacted if they wanted to contract me. Much later I found out this video has been posted on their webpage, and as a demo video for their reverb page. I confronted them on reverb and started a dialog stating I would appreciate some compensation or contract to do a proper video of one of the reissue pros. Kay did not have permission to use my video. The video was never intended to be used as a sales tool. The conversation fell flat and was patronizing. I am disappointed I can't comment on the quality and sound of their guitars, they might be fantastic, but I can attest to their ethics when it comes to musicians.

I've always loved this guitar so what can you say but WOW (read JEALOUS). I need European friends that will buy guitars at NAMM and let me play them and ship them. I'm up for that. I love the pickin' at the bridge, totally cool sound- even though not a Tele. You do it justice Tommy. Might have been hard to say goodbye and ship it off.

I had a Jazz II with those “Kleenex Box” pickups. When I played it, somehow it didn’t sound quite as good....Tommy, this is a masterclass in your approach. You should teach a lesson on how you did this.
