Wow a freak injury there for Paige. I sure hope that it's not serious. Paige and Azzi both being out is going to sting. The 3rd member of the Splash Sisters family Sweet Caroline is going to have to play like that 4th quarter until they get back to being healthy again.

I am worried that UConn is not beating other teams by 40 and 50 points anymore. There seems to be more and more parity. Notre Dame looks great after all the loss of talent to the WNBA and definitely uptrending. Hang in there Huskies.

This was the gut punch harbinger of a season long injury hell for Uconn that persisted all the way through natty night. Lord please let the '22-'23 season be a healthy one for the Huskies!! Knowing that she's fine now helps, but every time I see Paige's knee buckle it breaks my heart. Nice to see the concern of Coach Ivy and assistant coach Mabrey along with Sonia Citron.

Paige reminds me of another player who was prolific on both ends of the court and would not think twice about diving for the ball to the floor or out bounds to save it.... She must have been on the floor no less 5 times during this game!!! The other Player was Larry Bird and his career was shorten by an injury... Please Paige if you get a chance to read this please second think about reaching for the floor as it is very un-forgivingly hard!!! Second the shoes you are using may not have the best tread for you... There many styles of tread patterns.... You are an intense player and a rapid thinking player who physical body and mind are one on one on the court or both travel during the game at the same speed... You are the ultra poem in motion!!! God Bless Paige!!!! Go Lady Huskies!!!

That last min had me cringing and praying she’s okay nobody works harder and as gifted as Paige 🤦‍♂️ 🙏 looked so bad when no one is around someone injury and previous injury’s. There is no one more important in ncaa Bball then Paige.

Omg WTH? I can not believe that the basketball gods would allow such a stupid injury to happen to you. When I saw this and heard about what the damage was the first thing that came to my mind was... Shae Ralph. I'm so sorry Paige! I wish you all the best and a full recovery. I know, I know the Shae Ralph injury was way more serious and unpredictable as to how it would heal.

Paige finally found someone she could pass the ball to, make an offensive move & make the shot. She had that for one quarter, and then, she got hurt. Now, in January, Paige has had surgery and three games have been canceled. The Delta & Omicron variants of the coronavirus have shut down UConn: the kids aren't even going to class. Who says fate doesn't pay a huge role in the events that form out lives?

Paige, Nika, Aubrey, and Azzi all out at the same time leaves the team very fragile and I’m not confident in there next few games. The depth is definitely lacking and it seems other players that haven’t stepped up this season are going to have to. Ducharme and Williams are gonna have to take on most of the perimeter scoring and the forwards have to put do themselves in the paint. Losing such important players does leave room for others to step up, but will they?!
