Jimmy I completely understand your point of views, at first you will feel underwhelmed because we expected Bajirao Mastani sequences almost. But this is Heeramandi, and after learning the history of the culture and the women, I understood exactly why it had been portrayed this way, from the mismatched clothes to the songs that are more calm and melodic. Love seeing you back!!

Initially I had the same reaction because I was expecting Devdas, Umrao Jaan type choreography. Most of the characters from Heeramandi (except for Sonakshi and Richa) are dancers who also sing so you'll find that most dance sequences are very balanced in the show. Aditi's other song (Phool Gendwa Na Maaro) has more of the typical choreography that you are a fan of.

This series, the songs and dances are so iconic... especially the role of Manisha koirala as Mallikajaan is the highlight of this series...she was absolutely fantastic in this series

I completely agree with your point about the unmatched CHOLI and unmatched voice with Aditi’s dance . I totally agree with your unsatisfactory reaction and u expected more . Let me tell you JIMMY u might have seen Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s BAJIRAO MASTANI, PADMAVAT…. And so on but this is HEERAMANDI it has its different aesthetics believe once when u will watch this series u are gonna get obsessed with it so badly and this dance video .!?? U gonna admire each and every step, every dressing cloth, ornament, jewellery ! I think this is one OTHER And amazing side of SLB’s world of films and aesthetics this series has a separate fan base and it will remain for ever ! U don't see love in her eyes because she don't love him aditi character just using that men to get imp information for her mission she was just doing it as her job to entertain him she knows he already fell for her so the expressions or style of dancing is like that only while in chandramukhi amruta's character fell in love with that guy the movement she saw him for first time thus u see the love for affection for him in her eyes watch " Phool Gendwa na maro " Song from heeramandi it has more dancing for aditi also pls react to "masoom dil hai mera " Song too richa has done great job with both expressions & dancing

Hey, another fab reaction.. responding to the choli comment although it looks odd to us back when the movie is set I believe it was pretty rare to have all your items matching, garments like a ghagra was gifted on special occasions or a dupatta was gifted from your mum on a religious day. Maybe a choli was passed on from an older sibling and refitted.

Really enjoyed your reaction and the fact that you were genuinely trying to vibe with the song even thought it didn't manage to hit the hot-spot for you. Me personally, I've been listening to the soundtrack for 2 months and very familiar with the song so love it. Although I would say it's the 7th best song of 9 songs.
