Twister: Ride it Out at Universal Studios Orlando. The Very Last Showing - Nov 1st 2015

This it the very last showing of the attraction "Twister: Ride it Out" at Universal Studios Orlando. The attraction will be replaced with Race Through New York Starring Jimmy Fallon in 2017.

You know, when I went into this ride about a year ago, I didn't expect much. But then it actually ended up scaring me more than any coaster ever did. Mostly because I live where there are a bunch of tornadoes, and this felt scarily too close to for real just standing outside while a huge twister destroys everything. During the whole thing I could only think "we should really go inside, this is dangerous".

OH MY GOSH! I remember going to this when I was four or five and BAWLING my eyes out. I'm so sad to see that they're closing it down though. It was one of my first vivid memories. That and the earthquake simulator they had there as well (forgot the name). I remember this vividly because I now have an abnormal LOVE for tornadoes and this will forever be a good memory.

For any people who are curious as to what happened to the flying cow in the ride (and the one that was inside the gift shop, ) they're both being sold in-park at the Williams of Hollywood Prop Shop that's right next to the 50's diner restaurant. In fact, the store sells a whole bunch of props in there; not only from Twister, but also a lot from Halloween Horror nights, old signs, ect. The cows were still there when i went on May 30th.

I remember in 1997 when my high school marching band got to I perform in a parade at Universal Studios and we saw the signs for this ride being in the works. I never got a chance to ride it

I went on this two times once in 1998 when I was 8 and last time was in 2009 when I was 19 RIP twister the ride.

Been on this ride many times and always enjoyed it, especially when they tweaked it a few years back to make the effects more intense. All the rides eventually get replaced, Twister used to be home to a Ghostbusters Spooktacular in 1990 and ended in 1996, two years later it became Twister Ride it Out and is now getting long in the tooth even though it is still fun.. Other rides of course most people know that Jaws is gone, King Kong which was never anything worth bragging about that was replaced by the awesome Mummy ride. Back to the Future of course no longer exists just to name a few. ET which is a cute ride and a great place to cool off in the summer doesn't draw the lines it once did. So I imagine they will replace it one day. The best part of ET is the queue line.

such an awesome attraction at universal studios. pretty cool that universal put in a twister experience thing, Twister is one of my fave movies. last time i went though that attraction when the water came at the end got it pretty good and had to go back to the hotel i was at to for a change of clothes
