Plants are never perfect, but these are some of the houseplants that have been giving me grief recently! Plant problems happen from time to time to everyone - no matter how much you do "right" but mine have been doing everything from yellowing, to browning, to wilting, to dying recently...

Claire, it looks gorgeous and tropical outside at your home. Aren't you in the UK? I'm in the U.S. - Houston TX where it is often very hot. Your plants are and your precious dog are beautiful. I enjoy watching your channel as I love pets and plants.

Love this type of videos because I feel like I learn so much from them and they give me so many new ideas to try when I'm trying to bring back my plants. Thanks Claire!

I really appreciate this kind of video. Straight away made me feel better because I lost a peperomia frost and some fittonia to the heatwave too

I also struggle with pon, cuttings do well but when they mature the roots seem to rot. So now changing back to chunky soil mix.

You can try fertilising your Hoya Curtsii with a fertiliser high in nitrogen.

Wood has a tendency to drain the nitrogen out of the soil because it takes so much nitrogen to rot wood. But if you do manage to get the wood to rot, Not only will it help you repot in the future, it'll release a buttload of nutrients into the soil for your plant to thrive on.

Thank you for sharing your difficulties with keeping your plants healthy. This past winter was a nightmare for me with numerous plants getting infected with one thing or another. It was such hard work keeping them alive. It’s reassuring to know that no matter what, it can happen to everyone.

Dont give up on the pixie, my mojito broke and left a half cm stub and started growing from it:)

Thank you, thank you, thank you for this REAL video. I've propagated several cuts from the same plant at the same time with results like your monstera. It's comforting to know its not just me.

I think woody soil for Hoya is great when in a greenhouse with super high humidity but in a home environment it needs to be mixed with soil or spag moss to help hold on to moisture. I had a Hoya and another plant that came in the woody mix and both were very unhappy until I added something to hold on the the moisture.

I’d put the monstera also in a humidity controlled cabinet. Mine wasn’t growing very well and a month of putting it in the cabinet I had a new growth.

Oh man! This is so sad! I’m going on vacation for two weeks, in two days! I’m fully prepared to come back to similar issues! Luckily I have a good planty pal watching everyone!

I think you might be surprised how well syngoniums come back. I’ve cut so many all the way down thinking they were dead, and they came back

I think there’s hope for your variegated monstera! I’ve had my cutting for months and it’s only just given me it’s first leaf!🤞🏼💚

In regards to your syngonium Pixie just water it as normal and the new growth will shoot through, I recently allowed one to Die because I wasn't sure on it (I had a smaller cutting) but then I watered and new growth is coming through, I chopped ALOT of brown leaves off but its definitely coming back to life, as long as there's roots those syngonium find a way

Had the same issues with a fittonia dried out and I had to chop it back and it bounced back, however It now has spider mites.
