My $40 adidas have lasted me two years and still going, no one is willing to pay nike prices for mass produced garbage, they're charging hand made luxury prices and that's not what they sell.

I used to be a huge fan of Nike, but one day I wore a pair of Sketchers from their “arch fit” collection and LET ME TELL YOU😭 my feet never hurt again. They were like clouds for arched feet. Few months later I tried putting on my Nike shoes and I was shocked to how cheap and hard they felt after getting used to sketchers. Never looked back. I threw away 100s worth of Nike shoes bc they’re actually so cheaply made.

I stopped buying Nike after I noticed the SHARP decline in quality. Like, actual Temu crap quality.
I have a pair of AJ1s from like 2018, minimal creases, just a burnt out sole after 3 years of regular wear. Then I got a new pair to replace those in 2021.
I wore that new pair maybe 5 times? Instant creasing, peeling fake leather, looks like it’s been hot-glued by a second-grader, inner lining is already rubbing off.
Then I got a pair of adidas campuses as my everyday. Been wearing that since 2021 and it’s held up over all terrain, seasons, and time. Never buying from Nike again.

I went shoe shopping for my son and all of the “light weight” running shoes reminded me of the crap Payless and Walmart sold back in the 90’s! Such garbage!
