I am from Canada. About 3 weeks ago I transferred $140 USD into my Wise account. No issues. I tried to withdraw the funds from a US ATM that I have used numerous times over the last couple of years. The transaction was declined. I received an email stating my card had been frozen due to unusual activity. I emailed customer service stating the above. They then replied it was a technical issue. It took 4 attempts to unlock my card. I was in the US this past week and was able to with my funds. I won't be using Wise in the near future. Cheers

Used it all week this week, and used it this morning with no problem. Sent money in all amounts ranging from $100 pesos to $20, 000 pesos

Thank you for helping me understand some of these nuances. I finally set up my Wise account and was about to do my very first transfer, just to have that tool in my toolbox. I'll hold off for now. So far I've no need for anything other than my Fidelity and Schwab accounts and debit cards to transfer from US account.
