Satoru gojo and suguru geto were bestfriends in jujutsu hugh school. When they’ve been given a mission that tengen is going to merge with riko amanai, they accepted it. On the other side, toji fushiguro who left his family (zen’in) was heavenly restricted and has a great trauma after losing her unnamed wife, he forgot who his child was and was going to do absolutely anything for money. He got offer to kill riko amanai and get alot of money. Satoru founds that she is going to be assassinated so he fought him, thinking he was dead he continued but in half the road he came back and killed satoru severely while satoru said to suguru to run with riko amanai and her 💀babysitter💀 then they make it to tengen but then suguru asked her that will she merge with tengen or be with others and obviously she said she want to be with others but before they’ll go out of that place toji showed up and shot riko on her head. Suguru failed to rescue riko then he got the money. Later on, satoru used his reverse cursed technique and survived and killed satoru and shoko healed suguru. Suguru was gone too deep in depression and met yuki and got a plan if he started killing humans they must be forced to become jujutsu sorcerers and not be able to release curses. He declared a war with satoru 10 years after 2007, in which he killed 112 people in a village. Yuta-okkotsu joined the jujutsu sorcerers and was a special-grade sorcerer which made him quite the powerful one. Yuta damaged suguru severely and satoru came there and punched him to death. Kenjaku took over his body

What hurts the most is when gojo has to endure seeing his best friend's (geto's) body being used by kenjaku, Having to see your dead besti friend's body being used by a different person for evil Truly hurts. :(

When Riko died, Gojo and Geto both lost a part of them. Honestly, Geto had a actual reason to kill all non-sorcerers, I'm not on his side, however, I really liked how he wasn't just doing this so they wont have to kill cursed spirits. Geto wanted to prevent cursed spirits from being born so people wouldnt have to suffer deaths like Riko's. However, Gojo thought that the idea was absurd and refused. Both of them suffered a huge traumatic experience, and them breaking up was much as expected after Riko's death.
