Sakura definitely gets deserved hatred, remember how she made fun of an orphan in front of another orphan? She has a lot of moments that make her a very insufferable character. One moment i watched recently when Pain was attacking the village she did nothing but cry for Naruto to come save everyone and when he actually does she has the audacity to slap him in the face and say, "yOu oVeRdId iT!" Like holy crap.

Her fight with Sasori is still one of the best fights in Naruto for me, if not the best. Admitedly, that's more because Sasori is awesome, but she still did well.

Sakura might seem useless compared to Naruto with Sasuke but she she was pretty useful and important in novels. It's just that she was written poorly and in the anime they haven't properly shown her achievements.
Also, hating her for something when she was a dumb egoistical child is kinda absurd. She did better after that, despite it not always being depicted in the anime

Sakura came from a family of florist so to become a student of tsunade is impressive and only seems useless next to naruto and sasuke

The problem with Sakura is definitely that she's written as "girl character". All personality traits are entirely superficial and she swoons over boys because "that's what girls do". She's had basically no growth as a character from the start of the manga until the very end of it. Whenever she's involved in fights she either loses for drama or needs someone else to save her.
