Matt Reeves Shows Unreleased Early Version of The Batman Theme (Read Description)

In this video, Matt Reeves shows an unreleased early version of the theme from The Batman by Michael Giacchino. This version sounds more triumphant than the one from the soundtrack. A part of this version reminds me of the theme from Batman: Mast of The Phantasm by Shirley Walker. I hope this version gets released one day or Michael Giacchino uses it in the sequel which could be the case since, like I mentioned, it sounds more triumphant and heroic, it could also be a cool way that he's planing on evolving the theme as this Batman grows (like Bruce did at the end of the movie) like he did for Spider-Man. Anyway, I just hope we get to hear this version one day.

Here is a cool clip showing an early version of the theme from The Batman. This version sounds more hopeful and triumphant. A part of it reminds me of Shirley Walker's theme for Batman: Mask of The Phantasm. This version of the theme could be what Michael Giacchino is planning on evolving it into as this version of Batman grows (like he did with Spider-Man). If this is the true, this could be in the sequel. Because of his character arc at the end of the first movie, this more hopeful, heroic, and triumphant version would fit well. Michael Giacchino's unreleased theme is invoking those Shirley Walker's feel. That theme is perfect for next movies. Just how he upgraded Spider-Man's theme with more instruments we can hope to see something like this in next part.

The theme of this piece IS actually in the movie, it plays when Bruce goes in public for the first time and at the end when Batman’s helping people out of the water. It’s just a more subdued, slower version of the theme that leans into emotion than liveliness, but I’d love to hear THIS version in a sequel for sure!
