EASY SUMMER RECIPES | JULY 4TH APPETIZERS | COOK #WITHME | JESSICA O'DONOHUE

We are so excited to spend the day with you in the kitchen! We are cooking up some great July 4th appetizers that are perfect all summer long no matter what the occasion! We hope you love these very delicious and easy summer recipes and share them with your family and friends!

Parmesan Crusted Tomatoes: Preheat oven to 400 degrees
Cut thick slices of tomato
Mix olive oil with Italian seasoning packet and drizzle on top
Mix Parmesan and Mozzarella cheese and pile on next
Then melt butter, add bread crumbs and more parmesan and mix together
Lay that on top next and bake for 15 mins

Blueberry Lemonade Margarita:
Salt and Sugar rim
Mix fresh blueberries, water and sugar in blender, or heat on stove together
strain mixture
Add 1 1/2 oz of tequila to your cup
1/2 oz of triple sec
fill glass up with lemonade
pour in 2 oz of Blueberry mixture and stir
Enjoy!!

I want to share a recipe that my family absolutely loves!! I make this when we go camping. I usually use an aluminum pan and cook it on the grill. Start by slicing your tomatoes and layering them in the pan. I usually make two layers. Pour one small bottle of Zesty Italian Dressing over the tomoatoes. Then cover with parmesan cheese. I make sure I use the entire bottle of parmesan because when it cooks it gets ooey gooey!! Cover with foil and put on the grill. let the tomatoes cook down with the dressing and the cheese melts and browns on the top. I have also cooked this in the oven at home. It is amazing!!! My kids love it!! I hope you try it.

We love Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce too, but lately I've been buying the Burman brand "Memphis" BBQ sauce at Aldi's and we love it! I'm definitely making thoe sliders soon. They look so good!
