Advocates push to protect reproductive rights

“We have no right to control a woman’s health,” U.S. Rep. Bill Pascrell (D-9th) said Monday at a rally for reproductive freedoms. “Thirteen states in the union have completely eliminated access to women’s choice, and more than a dozen have enacted onerous restrictions to women’s freedom, endangering the health and safety of tens of millions of women,” he said.

This is so typical, a small group of activists get attention for their cause while the majority of people who disagree with them are not . I saw this first hand when Leonard Lance was confronted by 14 angry people in front of his office. He
had stated opposition to the issue these people were promoting, a position the majority of his constituents supported. Well, when he voted he switched his position and thereby allowed these 14 people to override the will of the majority.Too many politicians do this and these vocal activists know how use this tactic to get their agenda accommodated.
