6/6/44 Channel Marker at Gold Beach on D-Day
Distributing instructions in the assault anchorage after the first landings in Normandy (Gazette Date - 19/12/44)
6/3/45 Captured a German Biber Type midget submarine off Breskens in the Scheldt Estuary. Eleven Bibers had sortied that day. Four were found abandoned along the coast at North Beveland, Knocke, Domberg and Zeebrugge.
One was sunk by gunfire off Westkapelle on 8 March and five vanished.

Getting the shape right is amazing. They took hardly any existing data, projected it through thin air, made the left and right sides also out of thin air and recreated the original shape. Simon was slightly disappointed by being off 5mm - over the 16' width of the boat, that's not 1%, it's 0.1%, working out in the weather over nearly a year.

Knowing little If not anything of ship architecture or fabrication, much less so that of wooden ships and boats, I've spent many hours watching the tedious, careful craft work transform a rotting wreck into something not only seaworthy but also a work of art. Our feedback: The new little drone is fun, but that high-pitched whine is rather annoying and makes it difficult to hear dialogue. We prefer the other drone that flies higher and gives "the big picture." Will you do more fibreglass on the bow decks before replacing the front of the wheelhouse?
