Summary: 40 mins on independence (66.6%) , 10 mins on paedos in power (17%) and data laws n privacy 5 mins (8%)

Scottish indy stuff.

1:20 Will the Scottish in/out referndum be decided by votes from the heart or the head?

5:10 How are we supposed to make our minds up all the decisions and rules will be decided after

7:00 anti Braveheart says he was born in inverness and is a passionate highlander I love scotland and will take a stand to keep uk togethor etc etc...

10:07 question about scottish currency and business plan unknowns

13:04 insulting that comppasion only belongs to the yes campaign.

14:10 Mr hasitngs your rhetoric is heart warming but there i sno point that you point to a more sociable and just society its only by becoming independent and determins own future will it become possible.

19:34 Almost a million people used food banks last year whilst 104 people had a wealth of £301 billion pounds

20:00 Diminishing oil reserves cost of seperation high.

21:26 Mr darling most negative campaign proficising doom and gloom couldnt even see the banking crises

22:35 Lots of business start from dream and passion and who says scotland cant be one of those successes

25:48 Scottish governemnt controls health but not budget huge care crisis

29:00 Doesnt matter what currency scotland use its only a construct for exchange of good we could use bitcoin!

29:20 anti braveheart again - 31 million people of uk pay tax only 4.2 million could pay in scotland im concernd for the poor scotland can lead and will lead the uk etc/

30:25 Is there such a thing as independence in europe.

33:00 i dont think we should have dumped the common wealth.

34:00 false choice true independence is out of the EU

34:20 independence doesnt mean we have to be out of anything!

Paedo in power stuff:

35:45 Are we as a society doing enough to protect our children from the people who abuse the power they weild.

37:00 Why should pepophiles get released form prison and given new id's, should we all not know who they are to protect our kids.

38:44 the reality about child sexual abuse we must not forget is that most of it takes place within the family circle family and friends. It is not just within the establishment, it is not just withing the public schools, it is a curse of childhood for children from all backgrounds not just mp's and people who are high and mighty. IThappens in homes, it happens in towns it happens in villages. And that is what we should remeber we should not get carried away thinking it only happens in the house of commons or within the catholic church or wherever. It is our duty to protect our children and i totally accept what th elady said about they come out of prison and we do not know where they are we must do something about that the overriding thing is to protect our children and wether the new commision will do that i remain to see.

39:27 although she is a figure of establishment she will use her connections to show she is completely independent.

41:22 A free press (that is implied to exist) is a way to control these powerfull paedos.

42:00 profile paedos to screen them from powerfull positions!

44:55 nobody wants to creat panic but no law exists to compel people to report child abuse.

Data laws and privacy

45:20 new emergency data laws been rushed through, big brother society.

48:40 We now live in a society where markets are free and people are controlled rather than vica versa.

49:11 If youve nothing to hide youve nothing to worry about

49:35 just the fact that somebody is looking if you have nothing to hide Makes me feel uncomfotable in ythe first place!

Back to Scottish indy stuff

49:58 We need to be able to live togethor after the referendum, what can be done to take the unpleasentness out of the debate.

53:24 the abuse is two way, overall its a minority doing the attacks. most want peacfull debate.

55:26 5 businesses felt intimidated by scottish governemnt they couldnt put there view on independence over they felt under pressure.

That old Highlander is an absolute revelation. I could just picture him with a Claymore in one hand and a scalp in the other defending his bit of Scotland. PS. I'm English!

The Highlander was awesome. haha. As crazy as he looked and sounded, at least he has passion, something this world is lacking in.

I'm Scottish & undecided ... but I know this ... there is NOTHING insurmountable if Scotland decides to go it alone .

It is all very sad. For years of my life I have listened to people within the UK knock the English, Blame the English, Blame Westminster. Why, Westminster is run by people from all over the UK not just the English. Scotland wont do any better and it wont do any worse than if we stayed together. Scotland, England all of us we will just be like everyone else just little countries on the edge of nothing special. We wont even have a family of nations anymore and that sucks to me as an Englishman. Funny thing is most English people are proud to be connected to Wales Scotland and Ireland. Why are they not as proud to be as close and connected to us. I never really could understand that.

A very good debate, apart from the mad unionist who seems stuck in a trench at the Somme back in 1916.I firmly believe that Scotland would prosper from going alone, Scotland, England, the North of Ireland and Wales should break away from Westminster. Yes I know we have devolution but I genuinely think Scotland would be better off in the long run..no more Tory lords making OUR decisions..vote yes September 2014.

I'm English and I don't mind whether the Scots get independence of course, I just hope that you don't lose any benefits such as free universities. Or maybe it is worth it? I don't know. If Scotland gets an active, representative government without an aristocracy then maybe I'll apply for a visa!

I also hope there is no divide between the countries on a practical level... I mean many people freely move between Scotland and England, but presumably that would change... which would be sad. And I hope there is no tension between the people. Currently it just feels like historical, outdated and mostly humourous to pick up on regional origins of a person but that may change if Scotland departs from us.

Joan Burnie was the best in this discussion (apart from her crap views on the EU).

Scotland should be independent because they have always expressed disatisfaction  with Westminster.

I am Welsh! But if I was a Scot, My main question would be"How can you be an independent Country whilst being a member of the EU ? I would worry about jumping ship from Westminster to Brussels!. Which is the better of the two Evils!  Alex Salmond and co need to be more transparent with Scotland....Be careful what you vote for Scotland!!!

Britain's not a great country nor does the world generally consider it thus, regardless of the 'great' in its name. If anything (and I actually live in Britain and like where I live) its generally seen by many as a washed up ex-colonial power which has done much bad to the world and is not looked upon with great favour in the vast majority of places (like a tornado that has come and destroyed your neighbourhood- the tornado's gone and you probably can't do much to bring it to account, but you still feel resentful towards it). people need to wake up to this fact because i think some (like in this show) are still suffering from the hangover of the empire. then Britian possessed might to command 'greatness' (even if it wasn't the right type of greatness seeing that it was based on brute force and fear), now it doesn't and is only looked upon as a former bully (and an arrogant one at that). Tony Blair didn't help in that regard either.
