How Nelson Mandela Fought for Equality and Freedom

Nelson Mandela is famous for its fight against racial segregation in South Africa, the Apartheid. His unique efforts for peace and reconciliation were honored by creating the Nelson Mandela Day, July 18th. This simpleshow summarizes the main milestones on Mandela's way to more freedom in his country.

In grade 7 at my Catholic school (Ryan Catholic College) we all got to pick someone to do a Biography on. I picked Nelson Mandela and wrote about his involvement in Umkhonto we Sizwe and the Pretorian church street bombings resulting in 19 deaths as well as his wife which used to burn people alive.

Because the school was catholic and Mandela had been painted as a "Saint" I was suspended from school for 3 days and my parent's were called into the office to speak with the principle. My dad grew up during apartheid in Bloemfontein and remembers Mandela's involvement the bombing, the principle refused to listen and made me serve the full 3 days of suspension.

Mandela's struggle went underground ?....That's a neat way of saying he carried out bombing campaigns that killed and injured loads of people. Nice way to air brush history there.

Lets call a spade a spade. Mandela was a terrorist with 196 acts of public violence who murdered Afrikaners in order to facilitate the invasion of and control over their nation and then leverage their nation to the benefit of the southern migrating expansionist Bantu.
