A fire at a Lynnwood strip mall Wednesday morning was intentionally set, according to investigators.

The fire was reported just before 3:30 a.m. at Highway 99 and 156th Street SW in a one-story building housing four businesses.

The area of the building occupied by a sunroom company was heavily damaged. Firefighters kept the flames from breaching a firewall and spreading to the other businesses.

Officials said firefighters were inside the building but eventually moved outside because of fears the roof would collapse. The roof partially collapsed, according to authorities.

The fire was considered under control before 8 a.m. It is being investigated as arson.

No injuries have been reported.

A portion of Highway 99 was shut down as crews battled the fire.

Highway 99 was fully reopened at about 7 a.m., more than four hours after the fire was initially reported.
