“So how did you start your musical career?” Nandi “I drummed for the Foo Fighters when I was eleven.”

He never refers to her as a kid, simply just “this person.” So much respect to Dave.

When your kid asks for a musical instrument, buy it. Cause every once in a while you get magic like this.

Give a child the time, resources, support, and inspiration, and they will flourish

The fact Taylor sat this one out and let her drum instead of drumming too, showed how proud of her he was. Hope she keeps drumming in Taylor’s honour

She didn't just play well, she knew where to come in with his breaks. She just understands music.

She's not a kid drummer. She's a drummer. Who is also a kid. Damn. I am so excited for her!

Why can't life just be this good all the time

For those who don't drum, this is a very complex song to drum to with very fast, very odd transitions that requires a ton of endurance. To my knowledge, Dave has never allowed a drummer come on stage to play this particular song because he knows they're probably gonna screw it up or get tired and fall behind. The fact that he allowed her to play this song says that he has the utmost confidence in her abilities.

The way she stops herself from throwing the last drumstick and asks Taylor “can I keep this one?” the sweetest moment captured on video man 🥹 that was awesome 👏🏼

Dave Grohl is so cool to these kids. The smile on that girl's face when everyone is chanting her name is priceless. A lifelong memory for her.

Some kids just dream and fantasize about things like this. This young lady lived it and she is awesome

I cried when I found out Taylor died. I cried again when I found out Nandi had been selected to play his tribute concert. How beautiful. How honorable. How bittersweet. Be happy on the next part of your journey Taylor. You've left the drumming in young but talented hands.

He takes her hand, brings her into prime location, gets the crowd cheering and then steps out of the spotlight?! That is pure class!

This might be the coolest little girl I’ve ever seen. This is what the internet was made for.

I love how naturally humble Dave is. He's not like "we let her come up and jam with us, " no. According to Dave they get to jam with Nandi and that's awesome.
