TIM COLEMAN THE ENDURO COACH! Cross Training Enduro

All our other Tim Coleman vids!

Despite the rain and cold, Tim and his Beta RR300 kept us warm with plenty of techniques for log hopping, cornering, clutch control, pivot turns, wheelies and more. He breaks everything down into the basic steps, explains it well, and like any good coach makes sure that no one feels out of their depth with any of the techniques.

The coaching was held at Pacific Park, an awesome dirt bike park about an hour's drive out of Sydney. For anyone into cross training, the terrain is brilliant as the rocky hills are laced with single tracks and climbs of varying difficulty. Unfortunatel the rain and humidity meant I didn't get to film much but I'm keen to get back there some time and explore the epic terrain further.

With so much dry weather lately this was a great chance to ride on some wet muddy tracks and give the traction skills a good workout.

A highlight was being able to borrow a Beta RR250 for the coaching session. I've had a lot of questions about how the RR250 compares to the Beta RR300 so with a bit of luck I can tee up both bikes soon for a good comparison, and maybe even throw a Xtrainer into the mix as well. Tim Coleman offers enduro coaching, riding clinics and moto shows with trials tricks and stunt riding. Tim's Trials Riding Clinic is designed to assist trials riders of all levels to improve their existing skills, learn new tricks and inject the playfulness and joy into their riding. The Enduro Riding Clinic with Tim Coleman is designed to assist enduro riders of all levels to improve their existing skills, learn new tricks and inject the playfulness and joy into their riding. The Adventure Bike Riding course from Tim Coleman is designed to help riders to feel more comfortable with their adventure bikes when taking them offroad. There is also One-on-one Training with Tim Coleman. One of the most effective training options if you want to get the most of Tim Coleman's vast knowledge and amazing skill set. Australian Tim Coleman loves to ride hard enduro events like the Red Bull Sea to Sky on his Beta RR300 dirt bike due to his trials background.

I can see why dirt riders around Sydney have big cheesy grins on their faces much of the time, hopefully I can get a bit more riding in before its time to head home.

It's like watching a magician! Rode a YZ450 this weekend and holy crap it's a whole different ball game. Way more power and so light... feels like I could just pick it up and carry it like a backpack! Great video, he's very talented :)

Now that looks like riding in Washington state cascade mountains! This is the first time I've seen anything you ride that looks like home.

If you are looking for a good ride with some fun challenges I suggest you should go to the Central West Rally out near Wellington this weekend. It's a bit of a drive from Sydney but some good fun they even have a enduro X track, mx and some awesome trails with top views.

Great vid Barry. How does Tim's coaching compare to Birchy's? The boys and I are keen for some more skills development but Birchy doesn't appear to be doing Brissy this year.

looks like a soggy good time. I look forward to seeing a test of the 250, 300 and xtrainer if you can pull it off. I'm still leaning toward the xtrainer but all my buddies are telling me to jump to the 300 RR They say the xtrainer is too small???, I'm only 5'10 and 190 ish. I think it'd work ok.. what say you?

Do you think the Beater RS 430 would be a good cross training bike? im 5'7 / 145lbs and I just have a little bit (but not very much) doubt about the bikes agility. Thanks and as always love the video.    NOTE: I live in California and so a 2 stroke is out of the question because of the red sticker... brining it up is like spraying your dog with sausage scented perfume.

Iv been to pacific park so many times but my gonads arnt big enough to explore that place to its full extent

But I just upgraded to a proper enduro bike so I can do some of the tracks probably. In stead of trying to tame a blood mx bike I had before

We have seen your riding really step up on the Beta 300 2 stroke and the videos with the gnarly terrain your back on a 2 stroke so i was just wandering why the switch to the big bore 4 stroke ?

This is what riding in Washington State is like 9 months out of the year. Both terrain and weather.
