Arduino Fix avrdude-stk500-getsync-not-in-sync that stackoverflow refused to post

Показать описание
Many times i have had the help from Stack Overflow, but they refuse to post this hardware fix, so this time i will answer the question in Youtube. I had the same problem and tried almost every thing check ports, cables, etc, i tried a Nano and a Mega and they worked fine. So software was OK. i turned to the Arduino one and took the cover and watched the TX and RX leds at the same time i Was uploading the Blink sketch, only the RX led pulse 3 times, no TX led lit. Then i measure the xtal clock from the ATMEGA16 it was close to 15.99Mhz, but NO clock signal was in the ATMEGA328 xtal. So i get rid of the small lousy SMD "xtal" with a soldering iron and place a regular 16Mhz xtal plus 39pf capacitors, and turned the arduino ON and uploaded the basic sketch, and voila both TX and rX Leds lit pulsing and no error. This is probably due to cold solder joint, and it happens when you expose your Arduino to very cold temperature, so the solder it cracks opening the circuit. Just use more than enough solder to take off the smd xtal and glue after is finish. And of course do this fix if every thing else fail.!
I must add that the smd "xtal" is no good if you wanna do Frequency measurements, or things like that where precision time measurements are involved. Otherwise look at:
