Sounds great pitcher control and all... my oldest working record player is from 1962 i heritage from my grandmother and was originally from my mother half brother Who died 2 young... mum gave it 2 me i gave it love and care and ot runs beautiful a direct drive mono philips turntable with 4 speeds and automatic shut off at the end of the record...

Thank you SS for sharing! Really like the P777. Do you know why some, same model No., have a kind of sensor (transparent short tube [plastic]) on the 'SW' corner of the top of the table? That is, up and over where the PHILIPS white logo is. I've seen some with this and some without, like yours; I prefer this type because it seems less gimmicky or complicated.

Hi I have just got a 777 and would like some information please. Could you tell me what cartridge & stylus you have?
As I'm trying to find the right stylus for the 777. At the monent the cartridge on the arm is Philips 401 but no stylus.

Hey man, I've noticed that stylus force indicator doesn't show anything in the beggining, but at later the green stripe appears. I have the same turntable and I haven't seen the green thing on mine. Do you know what the problem is?
