I can't tell from your video, which of these thermostats make a clicking noise when it turns on? I have an older Sensi smart thermostat which click very loudly and I'd like to replace it with a non-clicking thermostat. Thank you.

Is there a really simple one. I run an airbnb. I want to be able to lock out all the settings. Just show a scr een to raise and lower temp, nothing else. most are so over complicated...

The smart sensors would just make the room that once was the comfortable room into the uncomfortable room.

Example, downstairs with thermostat is comfortable. Upstairs miserable because thermostat turns off based on temperature where thermostat is in located.

If you place a sensor upstairs and run the setting off of that. Well that means your heat/ac will be running off of that location. Upstairs tend to be really hot in summer and heat rises so the a/c would run longer and more often to keep up, thus downstairs would be freezing.

In the winter heat rises and upstairs would be warmer thus furnace will run less and downstairs would be cooler. Probably not as bad in fluctuation compered trying to keep house cool with a/c in summer but still.

These two scenarios would raise your energy bill since they would cause your a/c / furnace to run more often. It would basically kind of be be like the same if you just set your thermostat a few degrees lower or higher to cool or heat upstairs to make it comfortable.
