there were seldom moments where scott scared me, this was one of them and needed to be increased throughout the show, that level of dominance

Friendly reminder, during this fight Scott was still severely weakened due to his fractured pack and having come back to life, he wasn't fully healed and couldn't access his powers as easily, yet, using purely his fighting experience and the little power he could access, he defeated 2 enemies, making their abilities neutralize each other, and with raw good old intimidation, he had a third enemy cornered, all on less than 30 seconds.

To be fair, he has more fighting experience that those 3 chimeras combined, and in terms of raw power he's also stronger, though if he was hit with kanima venom or with the electric attack the fight could have ended differently.

I never understood why the writers always went back and forth between him being dominant and being a weakling. Just because he was kind didn't mean he had to be weak all the time.. sigh.

Since he was a lone wolf who became an alpha without killing one, he should have had a stronger foundation then others. Plus... to make him being scared of transforming was stupid. It could have been a plot of course for a while. But he should have been slowly progressively getting stronger.

Imagine if scott had become the alpha and protector of the area. Even if he didn't control the werewolf factions, they would still have to bow down to him. Kinda like how the wolves respected dericks mother. He could have even made a small elite pack of his own to deal with the dishonorable hunters. The ones who went against the code and killed werewolves who never harmed anyone. That's just my 2 cents.

This was Scott who had lost soooo much - basically the trust of his ENTIRE pack - because of Theo’s manipulation and the crazy circumstances. He was slowly getting it back throughout part 2 of Season 5, but there are rare moments where Scott gets actually really angry and stops fucking around - and this was one of them.

Fun fact to add on about “true alpha” it’s defines one character and will and as well as not killing for Scott case not killing and his character
For Derek (RIP) me personally always felt he was a true alpha without the title because of his journey and character development during and after season 2 till eventually in the movie 🍿 he became one because of his noble character and self sacrifice.

I wish we had a legit continuation of the teen wolf series, wolf pack is cool but it has potential

One of the few moments scott went Full Badass. Shame his performance level was always so wildly inconsistent. One second he can dominate multiple opponents and the next he's getting his ass kicked by some common Beta or something. I ended up dropping out of the series once it became clear they weren't going to address that
