My yarn choice: Pure Wash Sock mini yarn bundle in Fade 2 by Tanis Fiber Arts 85% merino wool/15% nylon @tanisfiberarts1999 and then I added Biscotte Sock Yarn in Chocolate to represent the fig tree @biscotteyarns 85% merino wool/15% nylon

I'm a sock knitter that has many books as well, but try knitting your cuff with a smaller needle.

Such beautiful stitching. I can't believe the progress you've made in your dragon, it's stunning. I'm glad I'm not the only one that puts projects aside for multiple years, usually because they're not working like you'd hoped. I'm pulling a few of those out this year too, it feels good to get them taken care of.

Have fun at your retreat, I live in the interior of BC and I am going to Edmonton in June for the Stitch and Stash retreat for the second time. I am also interested in the Banff retreat in September so I am may attend that one next year. Happy crafting Patty

Oh I LOVE Paper-Ya. That's one of my favourite stores ever 😍 Your stitching is gorgeous as always.

And I would definitely be interested in a stitching meetup. I live in Vancouver proper (Mount Pleasant neighbourhood). I could also travel into the tri-cities for meetups!
