testing it in the correct sized tent would be nice.. you cant really see it out in an open room, if that makes sense. surely the reflective sides would increase your readings.

Migro got a ppfd of 2.2 when he tested this but he did test in a mylar box to show how the light tests in a grow tent. And that might be why your numbers are a bit off from the manufacturer try testing in a tent type environment

Bar style lights are way better than a bunch of smaller quantum boards. I really like this light.

I'm glad they added a manual dimmer. Their QBs you gotta use an app which is a pain in the ass cuz its not very reliable. I was testing the 150 watt and it would turn on and off randomly.


By the way I really like the use of the ladder. Very versatile.

Amazon today 4/6/22 I just paid 449 before tax 485 with tax it was the only light that was close to 4x4 and a bar style that actually puts out some power

I have 24 of the Groplanner Hyperlite 150watt and really like the durability and ability to link up. I’d say the full spectrum favors warm light, better for flowering, whereas I grow leafy greens and wish they had a bit more blue 3000k like my Spider Farmer SF2000s.

Thank You for all of the research that you've done. I don't understand the disparity that you are listing for the 5x5 and 4x4. The inner sections are significantly higher. I noticed in your last graph (4x4 at 13"?) that the bottom row numbers were significantly lower than the top row. Your guess regarding getting better results daisy-chaining these putting the higher row average closest to the lower values on the last row of the other unit would balance that. Looks like I will need to buy light testing equipment if I start a hydroponic garden.

Or maybe the numbers are being taken in a 5x5 tent and there is no reflection from The tent wall where ur testing which would raise the efficacy BTW micro tests this light in a reflective box that gives a efficacy of 2.6 and that dude don't fuck around when it comes to grow lights
