This is actually called a vermosa, named after the state of Vermont. Add a little brandy and it’s called an apple crisp. In general, a mimosa is citrus juice (usually orange juice) with champagne or another sparkling wine. My personal favorite of this kind of cocktail is made with white peach purée and Prosecco/sparkling wine — the Bellini, named for the Italian painter. I also like the lemosa, which is made with lemonade, blueberry syrup, and champagne. Speaking of the holidays, cranberry juice with champagne is a poinsettia. Cheers!🥂
