1. It is not surprising that the US is losing the technical war with China. The reason is that the us does not know the Chinese saying " FOOLISH OLD MAN CAN REMOVE MOUNTAINS " ( 愚公移山 )。
2. Numerous people in China are firm believers in overcoming all sorts of obstacles / mountains in relatively short period of time. They are hard-working, innovative, etc. Facts speak much louder than words....

China did not succeeded in socialism, the first country to provide basic income to all its citizen will be the first country to succeed in socialism. It is more likely one of the Europe country will achieve this first. Today, whenever you buy Chinese goods, the qualities risk is not as good as Japan, Germany or USA yet since its consumers right is not as strict as those developed countries.
