Can you speak about what, if any, affect this has on the cars battery?

How often would the "filter" or whatever is getting dirty need to be changed? I'm assuming there's maintenance involved, otherwise why wouldn't you leave this mode activated all the time?

how much will these filters cost to change and how often a daily commuter of about 50miles daily will have to change this filter.

I love the bioweapon defence mode, but I can just see someone spending the money on it, and then smoking in the car or something. >.<

So what is the intention of the Bioweapon Defense Mode? Is it made to run continuously, or only on rare occasion? Surely if the latter, this would be a feature as cool as it would be useless. If continuous, why isn't it the standard mode of air filtration? Perhaps more importantly, how does "normal" air filtration of the car compare?

I don't understand how the bioweapon defense mode should be used. Does it come on automatically as soon as the car detects dirtier air or does the driver have to press it when they think there is dirtier air (e.g. when they are driving through city centres)? Can the car permanently be left in bioweapon defense mode so you get full air filtration anyway?

Will the model 3 have push start or how will it start? Also, how will you unlock the doors, with a key fob in your pocket?

in my experience after a year of EV driving i really started noticing junk that other cars put into air ans how hard it is to breathe especially when stopped at traffic light. it is often necessary to filter the soot that other cars put into air.

It's clear that Tesla is a very forward looking company. My question is what kind a future are they anticipating? What situation does Elon Musk foresee where we would need to get away way at Ludicrous speeds with Bioweapon Defense Mode protection? I shiver at the dystopian possibilities and hope my Model 3 comes first!

My new mini has a filter system that I can force on or leave on auto. In Auto it detects pollution and switches on some way. It does work, sitting I. Traffic behind a bus in town you can't smell a thing. Do the same rub in an older friends car and you can smell the traffic in rush hour. I like all these things as long as it's not a gimmick. I can talk to my mini to make calls, never worked once so what's the point of it etc. Be good if Tesla cars communicated with each other like tesla A a few miles ahead tells Tesla B traffic has slowed on the motorway to a stand still nearly etc, slippery surfaces like ice on the road, poor road surfaces even rain if it has rain sensitive wipers etc.

Really hope this does become an option on model 3. I hate driving behind diesel vehicles and old cars and inhaling their sut

This sounds like a total gimmick. My 2004 Honda Civic had a HEPA cabin air filter....how is the Tesla's any different? HEPA's are inexpensive and have been around forever.
