To this day, I don’t understand why buyers of these expensive items don’t arrange to be home or a pick up regardless of the inconvenience. You can make sure signature required and most of these guys have tracking on thier app. I know, myself, would take all steps to make sure that no box that I can’t afford to lose does not sit on my doorstep longer than 1 second. Especially with releases like the new iPhone. It’s a herding call to these thieves.

Federal law should expand the felony charge to attempted thievery on items in possession of carriers. Its already a felony stealing items inside fedex and ups trucks
