Artificial intelligence is taking over. And looks scary to me!

I am convinced we have reached a point with technology that it has diminishing returns. Things have gotten so easy and things are becoming so automatic for humans that it is making society more passive, more lazy and less personal with one another. With all of the technological advancements and "convenience" mental health in humans has gone down the toilet. If these things were so great, you would think mental health would improve and not get worse. Is AI good for the bottom line? Yeah. Is it good for humanity? I don't think so. Watch the recent 60 Minutes story about the next wave of AI technology and computing power, it will blow what we currently have out of the water and it will be a reality not in 25 years but within the next 5 years.

I said this on your last video, someone was looking for a job, someone said that AI was scanning some job applictions now, and it looks for certain key words, if you say the wrong words, it will kick your application back, they started using robots at my former job, there are fork lifts that move and do things with no people on board, I heard about robots in the late 90's when I worked at another warehouse, I went to Checkers a while back, and the intercom sounded like a robot.

In the near future we will have robotics for D J ing . There aer working on a robot that can do DJ . And lighting laser shows ect.

With the way AI is going, yes it is very sophisticated, however to use AI, certain companies put consumers on a subscription model and bill them either monthly or annually. Can you imagine having robots in our homes, we would have to have a much more powerful internet connection in order for those to run on 1) Batteries, 2) Wi-Fi, 3) Maintenance, 4) AI Subscription and 5) Maybe Insurance. So if robots do come to exist in 2044, only the wealthy will be able to afford them. I think that the autonomous cars are not to far ahead from where we stand now and that someday we will start seeing them locally, there are even autonomous buses making the scenes on our roads too.

Actually most of it isn't "intelligent" most of it is a lot of training data and propability. Real artificial intelligence isn't on the horizon yet. But I agree the job world will be transformed by language models and machine learning in general.

They use programming forlk lifts where all the money made is being stored where no personal isn't allowed in. It's been a few years this way..

Just think in 20 years we may have vehicles with AI and it will let cars communicate with other cars like people and drivers to interact with other drivers from around you. More advanced than Teslas autopilot.

My store that I work at always counts the products on the shelves to keep track of how many counts they have in the back room if it needs to be put up and I can see the shelves becoming digital with AI and letting people know how many products there are without employees having to manually count 🤷‍♂️
