This is one of my favorite scenes from splash. You can actually feel the romance and love that we don’t see now in this new generation I wish that we can go back through time to have the same love and the magic of movies and a good thing about it the same here Dara Hannah did all of her underwater stunts. It took hard work to do, but she did it and that’s why she is a legend and always will be.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

As a 90s kid I miss these kinds of movies. I was maybe 6 or 7 when I first watched it. Even though it came out a decade ago by the time I was born. Such a nice movie..I'm 29 now.

What I loved about this movie is when Allan was little he jumped overboard because he saw something in the water and it was a mermaid and it was Madison and he felt safe with her and they were holding hands in the water and he was so happy to be with her. It was pure magic and love and then 20 yrs later he meets Madison again and doesn't realize that it was her that he feel in love with her when he realized that he was safe in the water when Madison reminded him of his childhood and he was safe with her. That's why he wanted to be with her and he loved her and he said That was you! He jumps in the water to save her from the scientists that held Madison captive and he went with her b/c he knew that was his true happiness. She loved Allan and he loved her. That's why the song is Love Came For Me. This was a sweet movie funny at times and I wish I could find someone to love me. Tom Hanks and Daryl Hannah were a treasure in this movie so was John Candy Splash was a great movie back in the 80s everyone was happier back then Tom Hanks and John Candy so young.
