Who are these guys? They are my ocs! Their names are Dario (brown haired dude) and Garrett (blond ponytail dude), two boys you can check out on my tumblr blog linked below!

Are they your personas? I apparently get this confusion a lot (maybe because its common for youtube animators to animate their personas?) BUT no they are not! They are original characters that I created and are in no way related to me.

Are they both boys? Yup! Both boys in a relationship! Please do not think Garrett is a girl just because he likes dresses!

I’ve seen a lot of comments wondering why his Face is blacked out. Here’s my theory, what if it’s like that because Dario (is that the right name?) doesn’t want to like him so he mentally blocks out his face. It’s like, you always look down when talking to someone because their face is too beautiful and you don’t want to like them. Idk

So everybody has seen when it says "I think that I like you" there is an "I can't" hidden. I've seen all the other theories on that so I thought I should throw in mine. Dario is Bi, meaning he likes both genders, but being Bi myself I know that most people that are bi, didn't start off Bi right away, they normally come out as Bi after finding themselves (being gay) having a crush on a girl, or (being straight) having a crush on a boy. So my theory is that Dario was straight, but then Garrett turned up and it made him question his sexuality. Now the reason for his hidden "I can't" is because Dario is very stubborn with his emotions and he probably would be very annoyed at his heart for making him feel attraction to the same gender. So in comes the line of " *I can't* be in love with you" and that's why when the song says "I think that I like you" it says "I can't" meaning he *couldn't* possibly be falling for a guy.

I think this video takes place at the beginning of Dario and Garrett's relationship.
Dario began to question his sexuality and hid relationship with Garett. I think that he was afraid of what the public thinks thats why he deleted his message when it said "We could get lunch" and thats why he looked nervous. He wants to hang out with Garett, but hes scared of what the public thinks.
He thinks that Garett and him should just stay friends, and that he should cut out Garett. But he overcomes those feelings at the end of the video!! Yay!! 💞

A lot of people didn't notice the hints that I had based on what I read, yes everyone saw I can't. Based on your other videos I went through I think I may have figured out the meaning or just gotten close to it.

So if you notice, Dairos shirt has a broken heart. Throughtout the video, Gare (is that how you spell it?) eyes are blocked out. I believe the Dairo is trying to block out Gare so he doesn't have to go through with knowing he likes the same gender since it's considered a "sin" or even "disgusting" he was considering staying friends with Gare so he didn't have to keep thinking he was this monster everybody thought was a sin.
Towards the end the black upon Gares eyes dissapear and the screen goes black to reveal a fixed heart meaning that Dairo had finally accepted himself.

I noticed when it says “I think that I like you” you can faintly see “i can’t” on the screen, just wanted to say that’s an interesting touch, I’m guessing it means he feels insecure about being bi?? Which is no bad thing, but I like that you sprinkled that little part of Dario’s story in there just by adding two words fhdkdjsj this is long sorry I just love this meme and the twists you added to it

So...I noticed that when it says ‘I think that I like you’ it says I can’t very faintly. I’m not sure what this means. Maybe Dario fell in love with a male previously and that male was the one who broke his heart so he was scared to fall in love with another male? Or it could just be he was scared to fall in love in general as I said I’m not quite sure.


Edit: After reading some comments and thinking a bit more here’s another thought.

At 0:26 a female standing next to what we can just assume is a phone number of some sort. This number contains ‘LUV’ which can be interpreted to love. Take note that a female is next to this number. Shortly after a male and female are shown next to each other. Take note male and female. So maybe Dario is trying to doubt his love for Garrett because he wants to ‘fit in’ with society
