Ummm.... pretty sure you're mixing up species there. That "fruit" is a succulent & not at all related to bottle gourds. The succulents are Lithops, which literally translates to "rock face" from Greek. They're also sometimes called "living stones." Definitely not bottle gourds. Not even somewhat similar.
